2. 1 cup orange juice

2. 2 cups powdered sugar

*Instructions:*
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease two 9-inch (23cm) round cake pans.
2. In a large bowl, combine cake mix, orange juice, oil, eggs, orange zest, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
3. Divide the batter evenly between the prepared pans.
4. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
5. Allow the cakes to cool in the pans for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
For the Frosting:
1. Beat the softened butter until creamy.
2. Gradually add the powdered sugar, beating until smooth and creamy.
3. Add the orange zest, orange juice, and vanilla extract. Beat until well combined.

1. Once the cakes are completely cool, place one layer on a serving plate.
2. Spread a thick layer of frosting on top of the first layer.
3. Place the second layer on top and frost the entire cake with the remaining frosting.
