I wanted to get my daughter that Melissa and Doug ice cream set… tell me why was is $85 at Target? I got her an interactive ice cream truck for $50. It came with so much more to do. Yes it was plastic and made noise, but it helped her learn so much including making recipes with the recipe cards and all the things listed above. It made me so mad that “Montessori” toys were always way more expensive than their evil plastic counterparts from Target. I ended up with a mish mash of Montessori and regular toys because i wasn’t justifying Montessori toy prices.
