My current read is Ichor by Trish D.W. I saw her post on here actually right before I went to work and had to download it. I’m mad every time I get pulled away from this book. It’s about a world where Greek gods rule and humans are put in prison until they turn 18. Then they’re sent to an arena for gods to fight over.
The house at the edge of magic - this fun little tale is about nine, a little girl who pickpockets to remain in her little boarding house. While picking she nabs a tiny house that grows and grows every which way. Inside a curse has been set on the home and only nine can stop it.
The chalk man - this book is set in two timelines, when the group is young and when they’re grown. When the kids are grown they use chalk stick figure to communicate with each other. One day it leads them to a body. Then when they’re all grown up they receive a letter in the mail with stick drawings leading them back together.
The ex hex - A heartbroken girl puts a curse on her ex and years later when he comes back into town to revive the towns magic ley lines, they’re reconnected, working to fix the curse she’s put on him.
