Ok maybe a large army 😂
Okay, stepping back to reflect on this incredible journey – I can't believe I've officially hit Day 47 of the 75 HARD challenge! When I first started, the idea of committing to this rigorous program seemed pretty daunting. Two 45-minute workouts a day (one outside, no matter the weather!), a gallon of water, strict diet, ten pages of non-fiction reading, and no alcohol or cheat meals for 75 DAYs straight. It felt like an impossible mountain to climb, a true test of mental and physical grit. But here I am, well past the halfway mark, and let me tell you, the transformation isn't just physical. Yes, I'm feeling stronger, my clothes fit differently, and I have more sustained energy than ever before. But the biggest changes have been profoundly mental. The unwavering discipline I've built, the sheer mental fortitude required to push through when every fiber of my being wanted to quit, and the profound satisfaction of sticking to something so challenging have been truly life-altering. Reaching this 47 DAY milestone wasn't without its significant struggles, believe me. There were countless days where the mere thought of a second workout after a mentally draining workday felt utterly unbearable. Days where the alluring temptation of a quick, unhealthy snack or a relaxing social drink with friends loomed incredibly large. The outdoor workout rule, in particular, has been a beast on those cold, rainy mornings or when my internal motivation was at an all-time low. But through it all, I've learned to lean into the discomfort, to embrace the suck, as they say. I constantly remind myself why I embarked on this journey, and I consciously focus on celebrating the small, daily victories. Finishing a tough workout, hitting my exact gallon water goal, diligently reading those ten pages – each one is a tangible win that progressively builds unstoppable momentum. One of the most valuable, practical tips I've discovered through this experience is the absolute power of preparation. Meal prepping on Sundays has become a total lifesaver, ensuring I always have healthy, compliant food options readily available, preventing impulsive, poor choices. Planning my workouts in advance means I don't waste precious time figuring out what to do, eliminating a common procrastination point. And having a dedicated, large water bottle that I carry with me everywhere has made hitting that challenging gallon intake significantly more manageable. Also, finding engaging podcasts or captivating audiobooks for my outdoor walks makes them much more enjoyable, especially when the weather isn't exactly cooperating. I've also come to realize the critical importance of self-compassion, even within the incredibly strict framework of 75 HARD. It's perfectly okay to feel tired, it's absolutely okay to have moments of doubt and frustration. The essence of this challenge isn't about achieving absolute perfection every single second, but rather about unwavering adherence and consistently building resilience, day in and day out. This journey has taught me an immense amount about my own deep-seated capabilities and the astonishing power of relentless, consistent effort. If you're currently considering embarking on the 75 HARD challenge, I wholeheartedly encourage you to prepare yourself mentally for the inevitable ups and downs. It's truly a marathon of willpower, not a quick sprint, and every single day you stick with it is a monumental testament to your incredible inner strength. I'm genuinely excited for the final stretch and eager to see what further personal growth and achievements await me!
