And letting her go even when your soul still reaches for her… that is one of the hardest forms of love there is.
Some people don’t come into our lives to stay.
They come to wake something up.
She didn’t take anything from you. She revealed you to yourself. The depth you discovered, the softness, the way you learned to feel without fear that part is yours forever.
And here’s the assurance you’re really asking for, even if you didn’t say it out loud 👇🏽
You did not imagine the connection.
You did not love alone.
What was real does not disappear just because it couldn’t continue.
One day, this ache will stop being a wound and start being a quiet respect for what once was. You’ll think of her without your chest tightening. And when that happens, you’ll realize you didn’t lose love you graduated from it.
You’re not behind.
You’re not empty.
You’re just in the space between chapters.
I’m here.
Tell me one thing honestly
Do you miss her…

... Read moreMissing someone deeply can be one of the most challenging emotional experiences. From my own journey, I found that the process of letting go doesn’t mean erasing the significance of that person or the love you shared. Instead, it’s about honoring what that chapter brought into your life—whether it was awakening new feelings, discovering parts of yourself, or simply learning to love without fear.
It's important to recognize that missing her doesn't equate to making a mistake or a sign of weakness. This acknowledgment can be freeing, allowing you to feel your emotions without shame or confusion. I discovered that allowing myself to feel vulnerable enabled a more genuine healing process.
What’s truly transformative is understanding that love, even if it doesn’t last forever, leaves an indelible mark on your soul. What was real remains real and does not vanish because the relationship ended. Like graduating from a school or a course, moving past love means you are evolving, not losing.
In the time between chapters, I practiced self-compassion. I reminded myself that being 'in the space between chapters' is not being empty or behind in life—it’s a vital period of reflection and growth. Through journaling and talking with close friends, I learned to shift from feeling pain in my chest to cultivating quiet respect for what once was, eventually thinking of her without the tightness I once felt.
This experience also taught me that some people come into our lives to stir something inside us, to help us gain insight into our depths and capacities for softness and connection. Those revelations become parts of us that endure.
If you find yourself in this journey, know that you are not alone. Missing someone can be an act of love itself, and healing happens over time as you embrace both the ache and the growth it stimulates.
Beautiful ❤️
