🎯 ROUTINE 1: MORNING PRAYER + MAKE THE BED

- I believe that making your bed seals your exit from the dream realm, and sets the tone for a present day.

- light candles to awaken the senses 🔥

- moments of stillness, gratitude, dry brushing, prayer help calm the the nervous system 🙏🏾

- write down fresh thoughts, identify purpose for self + day 📝📝📝

- read SOMETHING from an actual book, newspaper, magazine (anything that is not a digital screen) - sometimes audio books can provide the same effect; believe me when I say page turning is a lost art! 📚

🎯 ROUTINE 2: WORKOUT & MORNING SUPPLEMENTS

- these are only a few of the supplements I take, but I take them as soon as I finish with my moments of gratitude. I do this because it’s easy to drink one full bottle of water as soon as I rise (for all my peeps who struggle with getting that H20 in). 💦

- GET UP AND GO!!!

✨ don’t even give yourself a chance to make excuses. Whether nude or clothed, just start moving your body! 15-30min of good movement is all you need to jump start your mood, digestion, circulation, and cognition🕺🏾🕺🏾🕺🏾

- weight lifting is essential for body sculpting + endurance + full body strength! 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾

- after working out I shower, tlc my body and hair, brush my teeth, and head to the coffee machine!

🎯 ROUTINE 3: COFFEE & COLLAGEN ☕️

- the day officially starts when I take my first sip of coffee 🤣 ~ but I enhance my coffee with collagen protein powder so I can get a natural boost of energy + Vitamin C (love this brand btw - I get it from Mom’s).

- PACK YOUR LUNCH THE NIGHT BEFORE ‼️ 💼

✨ doing so has significantly increased my anxiety levels in the morning - and to stay consistent I got me a cute and durable lunch bag from Amazon!

✨ doing so has also allowed me to save money while I’m at work 💰

✨ doing so gives me more time to do things that make me feel prepared and aligned for my day 🧘🏾‍♀️☮️

Investing in a sunrise alarm clock or simply opening your curtains right away can make a huge difference in how your body naturally eases into the day. My space isn't just tidy; it's designed to be a sanctuary. A small plant on my bedside table, a comforting blanket, and a decluttered surface really help me feel that 'cool, calm, collected' vibe. Another personal hack for maintaining that serene feeling is to intentionally slow down certain moments.
