🚗 Cars can make life more convenient, but should not cause finances to stumble for many years.
Before you buy a car, don't just look at that.
"How much of a month is this?"
Because the word "installment"
Could mean just still paying every month.
But the word "fits the money."
It should mean that after paying the annuities, we still have money to spend, money to spare, and can continue to invest.
Today, Benz presents 30/5/15 Rule.
As a preliminary guide before buying a car
30: There should be at least a 30% down payment.
The more downs, the lower the financing.
Annuities per month and total interest also decreased accordingly.
5: The installment should not exceed 5 years or 60 installments.
Long instalments may make the annuities look lighter.
But it costs longer and may not pay.
On the day the car started, the cost of repairs and maintenance had already increased.
15: Car annuities should not exceed 15% of monthly income.
In order not to make car annuities squeeze the necessary expenses.
Emergency Reserves and Other Financial Goals
Example:
If you have a monthly income of 50,000 baht
- Car annuities according to this rule should not exceed
50,000 × 15% = 7,500 baht per month
- If the car costs 500,000 baht, the down payment is at least 30%.
500,000 × 30% = 150,000 Baht
So there's about 350,000 baht left to finance.
- Then no more than 60 installment plans should be selected.
And verify that the actual interest annuities do not exceed 7,500 baht per month.
But don't forget that the cost of a car is not just annuities.
Still worth the oil
Car insurance
Taxes and the Act.
Maintenance cost
Rubber cost
Parking fee
And the freeway.
So before booking a car, check it out.

Annuities exceed 15% of income?
And after all the car costs are included, is there any money left?
Because the car that suits us
It's not just the car that installments.
But it should be a relaxed car.

การตัดสินใจซื้อรถยนต์ควรเป็นการวางแผนที่ละเอียดรอบคอบ เพราะรถยนต์ไม่ใช่แค่ทรัพย์สินที่ช่วยให้ชีวิตสะดวกสบายขึ้น แต่ยังเป็นภาระค่าใช้จ่ายระยะยาวที่ต้องเตรียมพร้อมอย่างดี จากประสบการณ์ส่วนตัว ผมพบว่าการนำกฎ 30/5/15 มาใช้จริง ทำให้บริหารการเงินหลังซื้อรถได้อย่างไม่ตึงเกินไป เช่น กรณีที่ผมซื้อรถราคา 600,000 บาท การตั้งเงินดาวน์อย่างน้อย 30% หรือประมาณ 180,000 บาท ช่วยลดยอดจัดไฟแนนซ์ลงเหลือ 420,000 บาท ซึ่งก็ทำให้ค่างวดต่อเดือนในแผนผ่อน 5 ปี ไม่เกิน 15% ของรายได้ประจำ นอกจากค่างวดแล้ว ยังต้องเผื่อค่าใช้จ่ายอื่น ๆ เช่น ค่าน้ำมัน, ค่าประกัน, ภาษีรถ, ค่าเปลี่ยนถ่ายน้ำมันเครื่อง และค่าบำรุงรักษาตามระยะ นี่คือจุดสำคัญที่หลายคนมองข้าม จากนั้นควรมีเงินเก็บสำรองฉุกเฉินไว้ราว 3-6 เดือนของค่าใช้จ่ายทั้งหมด เพื่อรองรับเหตุฉุกเฉินต่าง ๆ อีกเรื่องที่สำคัญคือ การเลือกผ่อนระยะเวลาที่เหมาะสม แม้ว่าการผ่อนระยะยาวจะทำให้ค่างวดน้อยลง แต่จะทำให้เสียดอกเบี้ยมากขึ้นและภาระอาจลากยาวไปถึงช่วงที่รถเริ่มซ่อมเยอะหรือต้องเปลี่ยนอะไหล่คนขับหลายรายเล่าว่าการผ่อนสั้น ๆ ภายใน 5 ปีช่วยทำให้หมดหนี้เร็วขึ้นและลดแรงกดดันในการบริหารค่าใช้จ่ายรายเดือน สุดท้าย การวางแผนซื้อรถโดยใช้แนวทางนี้ยังช่วยให้เราสามารถมีเงินเหลือสำหรับเก็บและลงทุนในเป้าหมายอื่น ๆ ด้วย ทำให้รถยนต์ที่ซื้อไม่ใช่ภาระ แต่เป็นส่วนหนึ่งของชีวิตที่ทำให้เรามีความคล่องตัวด้านการเงิน และชีวิตที่สมดุลมากขึ้น
