🔥 Ultimate Cozy Cottage Pie

This cozy, comforting dish is packed with savory beef, creamy mashed potatoes, and rich flavor. Perfect for a family dinner! 🤤

✨ What You Need:

For the Filling:

✔️ 1 lb ground beef

✔️ 1 lb ground sausage

✔️ 1 tsp salt

✔️ 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

✔️ 1 small yellow onion, chopped

✔️ 2 ribs celery, chopped

✔️ 1-2 carrots, chopped lb ground beef1 lb ground beef

✔️ 2 cloves garlic, minced

✔️ 1/4 cup all-purpose flour

✔️ 2 1/2 cups low-sodium beef broth

✔️ 2 Tbsp tomato paste

✔️ 1 cube beef bouillon

✔️ 2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce

✔️ 1 tsp fresh thyme

✔️ 1 tsp fresh rosemary

✔️ 2 bay leaves

✔️ 1/2 cup frozen corn

✔️ 1/2 cup frozen peas

For Mashed Potatoes:

✔️ 2 1/2 pounds Russet potatoes

✔️ 1/4 cup sour cream

✔️ 1/2 cup milk

✔️ 4 Tbsp butter

✔️ salt and pepper, to taste

✔️ 1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese

✔️ 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese, for topping

👀 How to Make It:

1️⃣ Sauté beef, onion & garlic. Drain excess fat.

2️⃣ Stir in tomato paste, broth & veggies. Simmer.

3️⃣ Spread meat mixture in a baking dish.

4️⃣ Make mashed potatoes: boil potatoes until tender, drain, and mash.

5️⃣ Add remaining ingredients to potatoes. Add finished potatoes to the top of the meat mixture.

Bake at 375°F for 30 min. Enjoy!
