Chocolate Cobbler

This is like a brownie and hot fudge sundae had a baby. Rich, warm, and begging for ice cream on top! 😍

✅ Key Ingredients

▢ ½ cup butter

▢ 1½ cups all-purpose flour

▢ 2¼ tsp baking powder

▢ ½ tsp salt

▢ ¾ cup packed light brown sugar (divided)

▢ 1 cup granulated sugar (divided)

▢ ½ cup + 2 Tbsp unsweetened cocoa (divided)

▢ 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

▢ ¾ cup whole milk

▢ 1 Tbsp vanilla extract

▢ 2¼ cups hot coffee or boiling water

▢ Vanilla ice cream (for serving!) 🍨

👩‍🍳 How to Make It:

1. Preheat Oven: To 350°F. Melt butter in 9×13” baking dish while oven preheats.

2. Mix Batter: In a bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, ½ cup brown sugar, ½ cup granulated sugar, 2 Tbsp cocoa, and chocolate chips. Stir in milk and vanilla. Spread over melted butter (do not stir).

3. Add Topping: Mix remaining cocoa, brown sugar, and sugar. Sprinkle over batter.

4. Add Liquid: Slowly pour hot coffee/boiling water over topping (don’t stir!).

5. Bake: 30–35 min until top looks set and crisp.

6. Serve: Scoop warm cobbler into bowls with vanilla ice cream. Heaven. 🥵
