It is the story of Tia, an aged old man and a young boy cloud, who grows up in a family of Chinese descent, grows up in the shadow of Tia's love or that of a father, conveys the story through silence, small actions are simple, and full of cloud expectations.
A relationship story that is aloof, a silence, a little dialogue of Tia. The book is like a record that gradually tells the story. It has many flavors, with the book told through the characters of Cloud, Tia, and another different family.
Tia has never expressed love, but believes that actions may represent more love, concern, goodwill, unlike the clouds that want to hear the word love from the mouth of Tia himself once, because Tia has no one but the clouds, just like the clouds that no one but Tia.
There are also knots of characters like learning that Tia has never supported the clouds for reasons in the past, and characters of Tan Treats who have made mistakes but have returned because of the family that supports and has always been a good safe zone.
"Everyone on this planet has made mistakes. We should understand, forgive, or at least not aggravate those who have already made mistakes."
Or a character who never blames anyone but himself, but in the end, we can never overcome his hatred if we interact with hatred. In the end, this book is very good. I want everyone to try to read as much as possible of teaching and reflecting society.
"Family can be good, it depends on the person who will build the family. The person we love and they love us. The person who is ready to walk shoulder to shoulder together. If the shoulders are apart, it can be distant. But if the shoulders are close, it can be warm. And if the shoulders are against each other, it can hurt. We have to learn to adjust the way we walk side by side."
The end of the reading makes us review everything that maybe we neglect someone at home or not. Want to walk to tell love because of fear that someday it may be too late. Finally, there are many stories in this book. Want everyone to experience love, distance, truth that may not be seen.
"Traveling by yourself is different from watching others set out."
