Is Daily Body Exfoliation Safe for All Skin Types?
I’ve been seeing a lot of exfoliating body cleansers lately, especially peeling or resurfacing types that claim to smooth skin, help with body acne, and improve texture.
I understand exfoliation is important for removing dead skin buildup, but I’m wondering if using something this strong on the body every day is actually safe for all skin types.
Can daily use of exfoliating body cleansers lead to irritation or a weakened skin barrier over time? Or is it generally safe as long as the formula is balanced?
What’s your experience do you use these types of body cleansers daily, or only a few times a week?

I tried an exfoliating body wash daily for about a week because I wanted smoother skin on my arms and legs. At first it looked great but then my skin started feeling tight and a little irritated. I had to cut back and now I only use it a few times a week with a lot of moisturizer after.
