This Meeting Is Over!
Fear had a lot to say today.
What if it goes wrong?
What if you fail?
What if it doesn’t work?
But fear is a poor counselor.
You don’t have to take its advice.
Today, choose God’s truth over fear’s lies.
Choose faith over panic.
Choose trust over worry.
What has fear been telling you lately?
2 Timothy 1:7
Be encouraged.

Fear often whispers doubts like "What if it goes wrong?" or "What if I fail?" These questions can paralyze us, making it difficult to move forward. However, through my own journey, I've learned that fear is not a reliable guide—it’s a poor counselor that preys on our uncertainties. Choosing to trust in God's truth, as emphasized in 2 Timothy 1:7, has been transformative. That scripture reminds us that God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power, love, and self-discipline. When fear threatens to overwhelm me, I consciously choose faith over panic, peace over worry, and trust over doubt. One practical way I do this is by pausing and praying whenever anxiety creeps in. Reflecting on God’s promises helps me reframe my mindset from fear-based thinking to faith-filled confidence. It’s empowering to realize that we're never alone—God’s presence surrounds us even in the most uncertain moments. Moreover, fear cannot judge or control us unless we let it. Reminding myself that "fear is a poor counselor" helps me reject its advice and focus on what truly matters. This mindset shift has helped me handle challenges more peacefully and with greater courage. I encourage you to examine what fear has been telling you lately and consciously reject those lies. Instead, choose to listen to God's guidance. Embracing this changes how we respond to life's difficulties, giving us peace and strength to thrive. Remember, choosing faith is not about ignoring reality but trusting God’s greater plan beyond our fears. It’s an daily practice of faith over fear, trust over worry, and God’s truth over panic.
