Mac and Cheese Recipe

Ingredients:

1 pound elbow macaroni

1 block Monterey Jack cheese (instead of shredded)

1 block sharp cheddar cheese

2 tablespoons all-purpose flour

2 tablespoons butter

Heavy cream (dairy-free)

Creole seasoning

Cornbread (for topping, or Ritz crackers as an alternative)

Guided step by step

Cook the Macaroni:

Boil elbow macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside if you can

Prepare the Cheese Sauce:

In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.

Stir in flour and cook for about 1-2 minutes to create a roux.

Gradually whisk in heavy cream until smooth and thickened - half and half also works

Add Monterey Jack and sharp cheddar cheeses, stirring until fully melted.

Season with Creole seasoning to taste.

Combine and Bake:

Mix the cooked macaroni with the cheese sauce.

Transfer the mac and cheese to a baking dish.

Bake at 325°F for 30 minutes.

Halfway through baking, crumble dried cornbread (or Ritz crackers) on top.

Continue baking until bubbly and golden.

Baked Beans Recipe

Ingredients:

1 can baked beans

Instructions:

Heat the Beans:

Pour the canned baked beans into a saucepan.

Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally until warmed through.

Adjust seasoning if needed ( a pinch of black pepper or a a lil bit of barbecue sauce).

Boneless Short Beef Ribs with Sauce ooooh my fav😋

Ingredients:

Boneless short beef ribs

1 carrot, chopped

2 celery stalks, chopped

1 yellow onion, chopped

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 bay leaf

1 teaspoon dried thyme

1 tablespoon adobo seasoning to taste)

1 tablespoon tomato paste

1 tablespoon Better Than Bouillon paste (chicken or beef)

1 cup chicken stock (or beef stock)

Instructions:

Prepare the Ribs:

Preheat your oven to 325°F.

Season beef ribs with adobo seasoning.

Place the ribs in a baking dish.

Prepare the Sauce:

In a skillet, sauté carrots, celery, and onion until softened it needs to be soft enough to poke a fork in

By choice you can add your own seasonings but this is what I used

Add garlic, bay leaf, thyme, and tomato paste, cooking for an additional minute.

Stir in Better Than Bouillon paste and chicken stock, mixing well.

Cook the Ribs:

Pour the sauce over the beef ribs in the baking dish.

Cover with foil and bake at 325°F for 2 hours.

Remove foil and roast at 425°F for an additional 15 minutes to brown the ribs.
