Want a Clean Heart? Part 1
King David was anointed, chosen, and favored by God—yet even he fell.
He misused his authority, made sinful choices, and caused deep damage.
But hear this: failure did not cancel God’s purpose.
When the prophet confronted him, David didn’t make excuses.
He didn’t blame anyone else.
He humbled himself before the Lord.
The Bible says in 2 Samuel 12:13, “I have sinned against the Lord.”
And from that broken place, David cried out to God—not for a crown, not for a position, but for a clean heart:
“Create in me a clean heart, O God;
and renew a right spirit within me.”

That prayer still has power today.
David had to face consequences—but God met him with mercy.
God didn’t throw him away.
God restored him.

The journey to a clean heart is ongoing, but with God's grace and consistent prayer, I believe we can all experience the deep peace and joy that comes from walking closely with Him, knowing we are truly renewed.
