Hey everyone! I wanted to share a Bible verse that has truly been a game-changer for my confidence and faith journey, especially during times when I felt overwhelmed or unsure of my path. It's Deuteronomy 31:6, and the words 'Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you' have become a true anchor for me. When I first stumbled upon this verse, it resonated deeply. So often, we hold back because we don't feel 'strong enough' or 'courageous enough,' or we worry about what others think. But this scripture reminds us that our strength doesn't come from ourselves alone. It comes from knowing that God is with us, always. It’s comforting to know that we don't have to have everything figured out, or know exactly how things will unfold. The promise is that He goes before us, guiding our steps even when we lack a clear vision or specific guidance. Think about the context: This was a message originally given to Joshua as he was about to lead the Israelites into the Promised Land. Moses, their long-time leader, was gone, and Joshua was stepping into massive shoes. He was facing immense challenges, leading a whole nation into unknown territory. Just like Joshua, who had been in bondage for many years, we sometimes face our own 'unexplored territories' – new jobs, big decisions, personal struggles, or simply trying to live out our purpose. It's during these times that the command to 'be strong and courageous' isn't just a suggestion; it's a divine empowerment. For me, internalizing 'He will never leave you nor forsake you' has been key to building confidence. It means even when I stumble or make mistakes, I'm not alone. This knowledge helps me step out of my comfort zone, knowing that I have divine support. It strengthens my faith, reminding me that even when circumstances seem impossible, God is still at work. This verse has been particularly empowering when I’ve doubted my capabilities or felt the weight of expectations. It's a powerful reminder that with God, I am equipped and capable. If you're looking for a boost in your faith or a way to truly feel empowered, I highly encourage you to meditate on Deuteronomy 31:6. Write it down, say it aloud, and let its truth sink into your heart. It’s not just about believing in God, but believing that *God is with you*, actively guiding and supporting your journey. This simple verse can transform your perspective and help you face any challenge with renewed strength and unwavering faith. Remember, you don't have to have everything, you don't have to know exactly how – just trust in His presence.
