🤍 My Story: these pictures are from over the years that I’ve built up my confidence in each picture you can see me get more and more confident with myself and love myself more in that picture with the tie dye sweater on it was 75 degrees outside and because I was insecure I thought I had to cover up just to make everyone else comfortable (yes I was extremely hot) mind you the first 5 photos are of me in high school which we all had self doubt in high school but it trickled over into my adult life and became an issue for me as I was evolving these tips helped me gain confidence in myself and see the beauty inside of me.

🤍 How I Felt: I use to feel less than and like I didn’t deserve the things other people had because I was overweight and terrible acne and my fashion sense was limited because I was a broke student (I always knew I had style just couldn’t execute it how I wanted)

🤍 My Takeaways:

1. Your not ugly your just broke or lack the effort (nothing wrong with that there is always room for improvement)

2. Smiling more helps tremendously (I say try taking more photos of yourself smiling so you can get use to it)

3. Give yourself some love and some grace you deserve it affirm yourself daily because YES YOU ARE THAT BITCH✨

4. Talk to yourself in the mirror and give yourself compliments and advice as if you were talking to a really close friend (make sure you actually look at yourself and talk to yourself even if you have to be stern with yourself)
