The biggest difference I’m noticing between fasting on OMAD versus it as a lifestyle is how relaxed I feel.
I’m don’t feel on guard about food.
I don’t have a deadline.
There’s not a specific petition attached as one would have with a fast. God is still my center, but I’m simply navigating life with Him instead of abstaining for a specific request.
I’m also not particularly avoiding a particular food. Plus with fasting I waited to eat the one full meal.
With OMAD as a lifestyle, I’ve nibbled as I prepared or served my meal.
Another thing I noticed was that I was very hungry by the time I ate, more than when I was fasting.
