$61 Live Seafood? Save This SG61 Find 🦀

If you’re looking for a seafood spot for a family dinner, group meal or SG61 gathering, save this one. 👀

For Singapore’s 61st National Day, Orchid Live Seafood is offering:

🦀 Mud Crab 900g to 1kg

🦞 Boston Lobster 500g

🐟 Soon Hock 800g to 900g

All at $61 each from 23 July to 11 August 2026, at both HomeTeamNS Khatib and Jalan Kelulut.

Everything comes fresh from the tank, and these were some of our favourites from the meal:

🦀 Chilli Crab 辣椒螃蟹

More spicy than sweet, which we really enjoyed. The crispy mantou was perfect for soaking up that sauce.

🦞 Boston Lobster Steamed with Mushroom Garlic & Vermicelli 蘑菇蒜香粉丝蒸波斯顿

The lobster was incredibly fresh, with meat that came cleanly away from the shell. And the vermicelli soaked up all that garlicky goodness.

🐟 Deep Fried Soon Hock 油浸顺壳

Crispy on the outside, tender and sweet inside.

One unexpected favourite was the Stir Fried “TuaTua” with Fermented Black Beans 黑豆豉香炒托托. 😂 It was HUGE. Seriously looked like the mother of all clams.

📌 More to save:

HomeTeamNS Khatib has 30% off selected premium clam dishes on weekdays in July, including Stir Fry Geoduck with Thai Basil 风味九层塔象拔蚌.

From 1 August, both outlets will also offer a complimentary nostalgic popsicle while stocks last, with a retro popsicle cart at Khatib.

We also tried the upgraded Signature Lobster Porridge 招牌龙虾粥 and Steven Chicken 招牌鸡, which are great additions if you’re dining with a group.

Best for: family gatherings, group dinners, seafood lovers and anyone planning an SG61 meal 🇸🇬

📍 HomeTeamNS Khatib & Jalan Kelulut

📅 23 July to 11 August 2026

The Khatib outlet will be taking a short break for a refresh after this, so it feels like a nice little “see you soon” before the next chapter.

Save this for your next seafood dinner!

Which would you pick: Chilli Crab , Boston Lobster or Soon Hock 🐟?

... Read moreIf you’re like me and enjoy sharing seafood feasts with family and friends, Orchid Live Seafood’s SG61 promotion is a real treat. Beyond the highlighted mud crab, Boston lobster, and Soon Hock, I found that pairing these dishes with some of their specialty sides really elevates the experience. For example, the stir-fried “TuaTua” clams with fermented black beans added a surprising burst of flavor that complemented the sweetness of the crab and lobster beautifully. I also appreciated that the seafood was served fresh from the tank, ensuring every bite was tender and fresh, which can sometimes be a hit or miss at other spots. During my visit to the HomeTeamNS Khatib outlet, I discovered that weekdays in July offer a 30% discount on premium clam dishes like the stir-fried geoduck with Thai basil. This makes it a great opportunity to explore different flavors while staying within budget. Plus, the nostalgic popsicle promotion starting August 1st adds a fun retro vibe that’s perfect after a satisfying seafood meal. For groups or families, adding dishes like the upgraded Signature Lobster Porridge and Steven Chicken really rounds out the meal without overpowering the fresh seafood centerpiece. Also, be sure to catch this before the Khatib outlet closes temporarily for a refresh – I’m looking forward to seeing what new offerings might come next! Overall, Orchid Live Seafood’s SG61 specials provide great value and a delicious variety that’s perfect for any seafood lover looking to celebrate Singapore’s National Day in a memorable way.
