This strategy is all about coordination, map control, and a decisive defuser plant. Here’s what we’ve found works wonders for us: 1. Operator Synergy is Key For the Clubhouse CCTV Cash site, we typically run a hard breacher (like Thermite or Hibana) paired with a support/fragger (Thatcher, Maverick, or even an entry fragger like Zofia). Thatcher is amazing for clearing utilities for the breacher, while Maverick can open up crucial peeks if Thatcher is banned. Zofia's concussions and impacts are fantastic for clearing defender gadgets and pushing angles. Communication about operator picks is your first step to success. 2. Initial Drone Phase & Entry Before anything, thorough droning is essential. Identify defender setups in CCTV and Cash, and especially check for roamers on the second floor (Gym/Bedroom/Construction). If you have someone with soft destruction, like Zofia, opening the ceiling above CCTV from the Gym/Bedroom can be devastating. This allows you to DROP grenades or create vertical angles, forcing defenders out of their power positions. Remember to consistently re-drone as you clear rooms. We often find defenders trying to flank from the 2F Hallway or through the 1F Open Area towards the main stairs. 4. The Defuser Plant Strategy This is where the bomb defuse aspect comes into play. Once you’ve created some openings and cleared immediate threats, identify the safest plant spot. In Cash Room, planting behind the bomb itself or near the safe can provide good cover. In CCTV, planting near the desk or behind the pillar can work. One player should create a distraction or hold a key angle, while the other quickly plants the defuser. Always be ready to PICK UP THE DEFUSER if it gets dropped during a firefight; a well-timed re-frag can save the round. One player can hold a long angle into the plant site (e.g., from the doorway into Cash), while the other covers the re-take push from different angles (e.g., watching a doorway from the 1F Staff Room area if they push from below, or from a window if they push from outside). Keep communicating defender positions and callouts. Even if it's 3 VS 5 and you're down players, a solid post-plant setup can often win you the round.
