Forget anything that digs in or feels restrictive around your waist. My absolute heroes are high-waisted trousers – they offer a gentle embrace without creating uncomfortable pressure. I love pairing them with something loose on top, like a soft ribbed V-neck top or a flowy blouse. If you're heading to the office, throwing an open cardigan over this combination instantly elevates the look and adds an extra layer of warmth and coziness. Layering is your best friend in winter, and it's also fantastic for managing bloated days. Think about starting with a soft base layer, then adding a relaxed half-zip collared sweatshirt over a simple white tee for a casual vibe. Or, for a more polished look, a classic crew-neck sweater layered over a crisp white collared shirt is a winner. The collar peeking out adds a touch of sophistication, and the sweater keeps you warm and conceals any tummy troubles.
