When Vanbi came to the Japan Foundation for a Japanese-style baking event again, it was very fun 😍💕 (having previously participated in a real Japanese tea ceremony).
Nerigiri is a type of Japanese dessert made with mashed white beans mixed with a mochi-like, soft texture, mild flavor from natural ingredients, but it is colored so that it can be molded into shapes as needed, often in combination with hot green tea or matcha.
Predictably, not everyone can easily participate in the event. When you see the Japan Foundation post on Facebook, you have to click to apply because they only accept 30 people, and the last time is full within 3 hours.
Oh....Activists must also have a minimum of Japanese knowledge at N5 level because they will teach you the conversation they use before eating snacks 😚.
Before starting to do this, I still talk to the younger person next to me that I have never done it before in my life, not someone who likes artificial work. Can it be a flower? Because the teacher only gave me round peas and patterning equipment....Finally got out....Not bad for the first 😚

ถ้าใครเสิร์ชคำว่า “ขนมญี่ปุ่น” แล้วเจอเนริกิริ (Nerikiri / 練り切り) โผล่มาบ่อยๆ แต่อาจยังนึกภาพไม่ออกว่าเป็นขนมแบบไหน ขอเล่าจากประสบการณ์มือใหม่แบบเราให้ฟังค่ะ เผื่อช่วยตัดสินใจว่าควรลองทำ/ลองกินไหม เนริกิริเป็นขนมญี่ปุ่นในกลุ่มวากาชิที่เด่นมากเรื่อง “ความน่ารักและความประณีต” ตัวแป้งจะนุ่มๆ คล้ายโมจิ แต่ไม่หนึบเท่า และรสจะออกหวานอ่อนจากถั่วขาวกวน (บางสูตรผสมแป้งที่ทำให้เนื้อเนียนขึ้น) จุดเด่นคือเอาไปแต่งสีจากธรรมชาติแล้วปั้นเป็นรูปตามฤดูกาล เช่น ดอกไม้ ใบไม้ ผลไม้ ซึ่งครั้งที่เราทำจะเป็นธีมฤดูใบไม้ร่วง—ดอกคอสมอสสีชมพูอ่อนกับใบแปะก๊วยสีเหลือง ละมุนมาก สำหรับคนที่อยากลองทำเอง สิ่งที่ “ยากจริง” ไม่ใช่รสชาติ แต่เป็นการควบคุมมือให้ได้ทรงค่ะ แนะนำทริคง่ายๆ: - นวดแป้งให้นุ่มก่อนปั้นนิดนึง จะช่วยให้ผิวเนียนและไม่แตก - ถ้าแป้งเริ่มแห้ง ให้คลุมด้วยผ้าขนหนูชุบน้ำหมาดๆ ระหว่างทำ (ช่วยมากตอนปั้นละเอียด) - แบ่งสีทีละน้อย ค่อยๆ เติม จะคุมโทนได้สวยกว่า - ตอนทำลายใบแปะก๊วย ให้กดเส้นใบเบาๆ หลายครั้งแทนการกดแรงครั้งเดียว ลายจะคมและไม่ยุบ เรื่องการกินก็เป็นเสน่ห์ของ “ขนมญี่ปุ่น” เลยค่ะ เนริกิริปกติจะทานคู่ชาเขียวร้อนหรือมัทฉะ เพราะความขมนิดๆ ของชาจะตัดหวาน ทำให้ไม่เลี่ยน ยิ่งตอนเราตักแบ่งด้วยช้อน (หรือใช้มีดวากาชิ) จะเห็นเนื้อขนมด้านในเนียนๆ นุ่มๆ กินอุ่นๆ คู่ชาเขียวคือฟีลดีมาก ใครกำลังมองหาประสบการณ์ใหม่ๆ สายขนมญี่ปุ่นแนะนำลองหากิจกรรมเวิร์กช็อปทำวากาชิ/เนริกิริดูค่ะ ได้ทั้งความรู้เรื่องวัฒนธรรม ได้ฝึกสมาธิ แถมได้ขนมสวยๆ กลับบ้านด้วย แบบทำครั้งแรกก็ยังภูมิใจได้จริงๆ
