✨For the SENSITIVE SKIN PEEPS✨
Hi everyone! I have noticed that not a whole bunch of people make posts for people that have super sensitive skin, so I figured I might be a good person to make such a post. I used to be a super active athlete, wore makeup a lot for competitions and football games (was a cheerleader if you're new here), and now am I college student where it's humid and sunny almost everyday.
So for first cleaning the sweat and dirt off I use the blue Garnier Micellar water. It doesn't burn unless your skin is already irritated/acne has been popped/scratches from beloved pets (I have a boxer puppy so he always is trying to box or pull me into a hug). The face wash in the shower I currently use is the Neutrogena Ultra gentle foaming wash. I think it does have a nice smell, which for most fragrance free stuff to me don't and makes it hard for me to want to use cause I like nice smelling stuff 😅🥲, and I personally like foaming but that's because I like to be able to tell if the soap is still there and some face washes that don't make it feel like you just have water on your face. The Cetaphil I used recently for having an allergic reaction to face paint (I had to for CMN Hospital Fundraiser at Walmart cause unless an adult had it on nobody trusted us to paint). I knew I would have one and couldn't find the Micellar water when I was frantically trying to get it off, and used my reusable makeup sponges (10/10 recommend probably will need to make a series sooo follow for more!) and it was so gentle at getting it off. I didn't have to scrub hard to get the paint off! The PONDS moisturizer is what I currently use day and night but I have used the CeraVe spf one before and miss it a bit for the days I don't feel like putting sunblock on. The Niacinamide helps me control the blackheads and acne breakouts from occurring. I put a few drops across my face (kinda how you would foundation or primer). The only thing is it does kinda smell a little like vinegar imo but I that it's worth it cause the Ponds moisturizer is what I put on after and it smells so good. The TULA stick is my saving grace after long night's doing assignments (Biochem major) to help wake me up and make the dark spots go away. I also am an insomniac and it helps wake me up as well when I have trouble sleeping the previous night. It does look like highlight so at least for me, I have to blend it in a bit. I switch between the Dove and RawSugar hand soaps for my eczema, I have found that switching between products works super well! My eczema will be so bad during winter that Sherpa literally will rip the dry skin off and cause me to bleed, so the switching between products helps keep the skin from getting used to a product and either stop working as good or starts to irritate the skin. Make sure to introduce new products slowly to allow your skin to adapt, and consult a dermatologist if you have severe reactions.
