Black Girl Skin Care Tips & Products! Clear Skin 🍋

This is a good showcase of products that can be purchased to help start a good skincare routine! Some I use personally and others are substitutes… I am really big on skincare so I invest in all time of products ( don’t know which works til you try.) What started me on my skincare journey? I had bad dark spots growing up from picking at my acne ( which I still do today even I have breakouts unfortunately ) so because my skin was a big insecurity of mines I wore makeup 24/7! Literally 24/7 😱 however I didn’t like how people would make comments on how I don’t look the same without makeup on whenever I had to leave home quick without it on😭 That messed with my self esteem more so I said I don’t want people to think I’m a Catfish so I started seeing an esthetician who helped me archive my goals of more even tone. I still have some hyperpigmentation and dark spots ( only when I pick at my breakouts) but because of my skincare regimen it clears up in no time! So comment and let me know your skincare story and if you start today with any of those products 💕 #lemon8skin #lemon8beautycreator #lemon8beauty #lemon8fyp #glowup2024 #affordableskincare #girltips #lifestylechanges

... Read moreFinding the right skincare routine is essential, especially for Black girls dealing with unique skin challenges such as hyperpigmentation and acne scars. The journey towards clear skin often begins with understanding your skin type and experimenting with various products. Incorporating gentle cleansers, exfoliators like salicylic acid, and powerful serums can significantly improve skin texture and tone. Products such as the CeraVe Renewing SA Cleanser not only cleanse but also exfoliate, making them great for daily use without causing irritation. Moisturizers play a crucial role in hydration, so look for options that are formulated to suit darker skin tones without leaving a white cast. Brands like The Ordinary and Murad offer effective solutions with their Hydration Essentials, specifically designed for diverse skin types. Additionally, don't overlook the importance of broad-spectrum sunscreen like CeraVe's Hydrating Sheer Sunscreen, which should be a staple in your regimen, protecting the skin from harmful UV rays while keeping it moisturized. When implementing a new skincare routine, patience is key. Results may take time, but by setting realistic goals and consistently using the right products, you can achieve healthy, glowing skin. Sharing your experiences and seeking advice from fellow skincare enthusiasts can also enhance this journey, creating a supportive community focused on beauty and self-acceptance.
