Evening Light • June 1st

The first day of June winds down gently.

And I find myself breathing deeper.

Tonight, I’m not striving—I’m surrendering.

Letting go of the pressure to be “further along.”

Letting grace be enough for where I am right now.

As a chaplain-to-be, I’m learning that presence matters more than performance. That stillness can be sacred. That the quiet is where God often whispers.

So I’m closing this day with:

🕊️ gratitude for the process

📖 prayers for those I’ll one day sit beside

🫶 and peace in the becoming

✍🏼 “In peace I will lie down and sleep, for You alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety.” — Psalm 4:8

🎶 Evening Song: “You Hold It All Together” by Maverick City Music + UPPERROOM

Let it carry you into rest tonight. He’s already in your tomorrow.
