Stillness Is Not Stuck
Let me say this plainly because somebody needs to hear it
Stillness is not laziness.
Stillness is not giving up.
Stillness is not falling behind.
Sometimes stillness is me choosing not to panic.
It’s me not forcing answers out of God.
It’s me letting my nervous system unclench instead of spiraling into “I should be further by now."
As a therapist who also has a therapist, I know this
Growth doesn’t always look busy.
Healing doesn’t always look productive.
Faith doesn’t always come with movement.
Stillness is where things settle.
It’s where clarity forms quietly.
It’s where God does work I don’t get to micromanage.
I’m not stuck.
I’m paused with purpose.
I’m listening.
I’m letting myself breathe without rushing to prove anything.
If today feels quiet, slow, or uneventful
that doesn’t mean nothing is happening.
It means something deeper is.
Wednesday Blooms.
Stillness is not stuck.
Save this if you’re learning to trust the quiet.
