DAY 13 OF CHANGING MY LIFE
Seriously this simple swap has changed my days. I normally would drink an Alani every morning, but would always get a tummy ache (or puke) and have a crash mid day. Having this is
1) cheaper (alani is $2.59 and depending on what shake you get itâs around $1.50-$2.20)
2) I get 1/3 of my daily protein goal right off the bat in the morning
3) I havenât had a single tummy issue
4) I still get my caffeine intake without the insane blood sugar spike
5) I can hold off on breakfast and go right to lunch (I work second shift so I wake up around 10am)
6) I always have different flavors available for whatever Iâm feeling that morning. My favorite right now is the premier protein cinnamon roll, but I also love salted caramel and plain vanilla - even the chocolate peanut butter one is amazing!
7) probably the most important oneâĻ I have sustained energy all day long. I never have a mid day crash when I drink my protein iced coffee. I had a day last week where I drank an alani instead and I noticed only negative things with it. I crashed so hard around 3pm that I almost fell asleep in the car on the way to Aldi. Thatâs not okay. Also now that I know the whole protein shake in the coffee is doing only good things for me, it really does help me get out of bed in the morning. I get EXCITED for it even though that sounds cheesy.
