ðPhilosopher numbers, auspicious numbers, do they really affect Buddhism?
Many people often hear about auspicious numbers, lucky numbers that should be avoided, that sometimes make them feel anxious or attached, but if you look at the Buddhist aspects, you will find that there are good ideas that can help us replenish our hearts without being ignorant.
ðĒ Numbers are just symbols, not destinationists.
In the doctrine of teaching that numbers are just human-made fictions to count and communicate. It can be seen that each culture has different beliefs, both good and bad, depending on which way it weighs. But in Buddhism, numbers do not have mysterious powers, cannot summon fortune or bring harm to anyone on their own, whether it is a phone number, date of birth, license plate, or any number.
The things that really value and affect our lives are not the numbers that appear, but the thoughts, words, and actions that we create every day: karma, the true natural law.
ðĄ Hidden meaning: Number is a medium, not a dependency.
Although numbers do not have superpowers, we can give them a good meaning as a reminder and a positive force for ourselves:
- For example, number 3 â Reminiscent of Phra Ratchai, three goodness: good body, verbal good, kind.
- Number 4 â Exhort to live according to Divinity 4, know to solve problems and improve yourself.
- Numbers 8 â Remind to follow the 8-conduct that leads to prosperity.
- or even a number that people see as bad. We may turn perspective into a symbol of learning and strength to break through obstacles.
Number is like a mirror, reflecting what we think and believe. If we add good meaning, it becomes encouraging.
ðą True Auspicious: Creatable with Our Hands and Hearts
The Buddha said in the Montsutra that what brings happiness, prosperity and safety to life is not the risk or choice of numbers, but these:
â . Association good people. Listen to useful teachings.
â is self-sufficient, approximate.
â Have precepts. Keep your speech and heart pure.
â , make merit, help others, and be merciful to animals.
â . Intellect. Not careless in life.
These are real "auspicious numbers" that no one can and have a lifetime of good results.
ð concluded with a steady heart.
Believing in auspicious numbers is not wrong if it is for comfort and encouragement, but let's just remember that the destiny is not written in numbers, but created bit by bit from our own actions.
When we are good-hearted, honest, helping others, and living a conscious life, no matter what numbers, life is full of happiness, prosperity, and the good things we create.
Thoughts left:
"Don't look for luck from numbers, but make luck out of goodness in your heart. Self-made luck is the most stable and sustainable," âĻ
