I’ll be honest—I went on a little adventure here in Texas.
Have you ever heard of Free Little Libraries?
Lately I’ve been seeing them all over TikTok and other social platforms, and I finally decided to explore them for myself.
They are every bit as magical as they look.
Each tiny library feels like a quiet reminder that kindness still exists. Complete strangers leave pieces of themselves behind in the form of stories, trusting that someone else will find comfort, adventure, or hope between the pages.
I quietly collected a few books along my journey, and I can’t wait to read every one of them.
One dream I have is that, when I’m able, I’ll always leave a book in exchange for the one I take. It feels like a small way to keep the kindness moving forward.
During this adventure, I also wandered through a few thrift stores and came home with new projects to restore, create, and hopefully sell someday. (Although… I may have to convince myself not to keep everything I make. 😂)
There’s something peaceful about spending a day this way—driving with your favorite music playing, taking roads you’ve never driven before, discovering hidden places, and realizing your own town still has surprises waiting for you.
