Never expected these comments from women😭
As someone who has been into fitness for quite some time, I’ve had my fair share of unexpected comments about my body, and unfortunately, not all of them are positive. One of the hardest things I've experienced is hearing women, who you'd expect to understand body positivity, make remarks about weight gain. For example, being told you’ve "gained a lot of weight" can feel especially discouraging, particularly if you maintain a consistent fitness routine. What I've learned is that comments like these often stem from other people's perceptions and insecurities rather than an accurate reflection of your efforts or self-worth. For me, it helped to focus on my own progress, health, and how I feel physically and mentally, rather than any external opinions. Fitness is personal and multifaceted; weight is just one aspect, and it doesn't define fitness or health by itself. Another way to handle such comments is to communicate openly with those around you. Sometimes, people don’t realize how their words impact others. Sharing your feelings might lead to greater understanding and support. Ultimately, building a strong mindset is just as important as building physical strength. Celebrate your achievements, no matter how small, and surround yourself with positivity. Being a fitness girl or guy means not only working on your body but also on cultivating resilience against negativity. If you ever receive unexpected comments like "you’ve gained weight," remember to remind yourself of your dedication and all the hard work you’ve put in. Weight fluctuates for many reasons—not just fitness—so don’t let outside voices affect your motivation to stay healthy and active.
