oh the good old days
Hard to believe this was my oldest collaboration done in Pivot v3 #animation #pivotanimator
Looking back at early animation projects made with Pivot v3 really gives me a sense of nostalgia and appreciation for how much digital animation tools have evolved. Pivot Animator was one of the more accessible programs that allowed beginners and hobbyists to bring their stick figure ideas to life without needing complex software or extensive drawing skills. One thing I found fascinating was how collaborations back then, despite limited features compared to modern animation tools, fostered creativity and teamwork. Sharing files and ideas through forums or social media became a way to learn new techniques and push the boundaries of what could be done with simple pivot points and frame-by-frame animation. Over time, improvements in Pivot Animator made it easier to create smoother movements, add effects, and share animations more widely. Even now, revisiting those early works sparks ideas and reminds me that passion and community support can drive great creative results, no matter the tools. For anyone interested in animation history or looking for a beginner-friendly way to start animating, diving into Pivot Animator and trying to recreate or improve on old projects can be a rewarding experience. It’s a great reminder of how animation combines technical skills with storytelling and collaboration.
