I’m reaching out to our community because we need help from families of individuals with special needs, including those who are nonverbal. 💙
We’re tentatively planning a town hall meeting on March 25th 🗓️ to discuss the need for Cito’s Law and to address medical situations where something critical was missed—whether it was a diagnosis, treatment, or another issue—that led to complications. ⚠️
Our family has experienced a heartbreaking loss—my son tragically passed away due to a medical oversight. 💔
No family should have to endure this kind of pain, and I know we are not alone in facing these challenges. It’s important to highlight the struggles of both nonverbal individuals and the broader special needs community in medical care. 🩺
We are looking for families of the nonverbal community to come support us.
