The Narrow Path Most Christians Refuse to Walk

Yahusha’s warning is as clear as it is terrifying:
“Enter in through the narrow gate, because the gate is wide — and the way is broad — that leads to destruction, and many are those who enter in through it. Because the gate is narrow and the way is hard-pressed which leads to life, and there are few who find it.”
(Mattithyahu 7:13–14)
For decades, most of mainstream Christianity has convinced itself that “believing in sn-Jesus” is the narrow path. But Yahusha Himself destroys that idea in the very same chapter:
“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Master, Master,’ shall enter into the reign of the heavens, but he who is doing the desire of My Father in the heavens. Many shall say to Me in that day, ‘Master, Master, have we not prophesied in Your Name, and cast out demons in Your Name, and done many mighty works in Your Name?’ And then I shall declare to them, ‘I never knew you, depart from Me, you who work lawlessness!’”
(Mattithyahu 7:21–23)
Let that sink in.
These people called Him Master, did miracles, preached, and ministered. Yet they are rejected — not for lack of belief, but for lawlessness.
What is Lawlessness?
1 Yohanan (1 John) 3:4 defines sin plainly:
“Everyone doing sin also does lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness/transgression of the turah.”
If sin = lawlessness, then living outside YAHUAH’S Turah is exactly what Yahusha was warning about.
The broad road is filled with churchgoers who:
Replace the commanded 7th day Shabbat with man-made Gregorian Day worship
Keep pagan holidays rebranded as “Christian” (Christmas, Easter)
Eat what YAHUAH calls abomination (unclean meats)
Ignore the appointed times He calls “My feasts” (Leviticus 23)
The Narrow Path
The narrow path is obedience fueled by love.
Yahusha said: “If you love Me, you shall guard My commands.” (Yohanan 14:15)
And: “By this we know that we love the children of Aluah, when we love Aluah and guard His commands. For this is the love for Aluah, that we guard His commands, and His commands are not heavy.” (1 Yohanan 5:2–3)
Why This Matters
If you follow the broad road, you’re walking toward destruction while thinking you’re saved. That’s the most dangerous deception of all — the one Satan prefers, because it feels “right.”
The choice is not between “law” and “grace.” The choice is between the true covenant walk and the lawless counterfeit.
Few will find the narrow path.
