✨Library Haul✨
my therapy sessions are NEVER complete until I go to the library & check out some books. always adding to the never ending TBR that I have. there’s never too many books that you can have or read. #book haul 📚 #local library 📚 #lovestoread📚
There’s truly nothing quite like the feeling of a fresh library haul! For me, those moments spent wandering the aisles, discovering new worlds tucked between the shelves, are an absolute form of therapy. It’s where I can escape, unwind, and just immerse myself in the pure joy of reading. My 'To Be Read' (TBR) pile is always growing, and honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way. Who can ever have too many books? When I embark on a library adventure, I usually have a mix of strategies. Sometimes I'm on the hunt for a specific title I've heard buzzing about, and other times I love to let serendipity guide me. This latest haul was particularly exciting because I managed to snag a copy of "LOVE, THEORETICALLY" by the brilliant ALI HAZELWOOD. Her books are always a fantastic blend of STEM, romance, and witty banter, making them instant favorites. It’s no wonder she's a #1 New York Times Bestselling Author – her storytelling is just so captivating and full of heart, drawing you in from the very first page. Beyond the popular new releases, I also love to explore different genres and authors. Sometimes, I'm drawn to a compelling science fiction narrative, perhaps something like "Persephone Station by Stina Leicht," which I've seen mentioned in various reading communities. Other times, I might find myself gravitating towards a unique literary gem or a historical fiction. I'm always on the lookout for diverse stories, whether it's a poignant tale like "Mieko and the Fifth Treasure" or something completely unexpected. I also appreciate authors like AVERY FLYNN, who consistently deliver engaging and heartfelt reads. For anyone looking to maximize their own library hauls, I have a few tips! First, always check out the 'new releases' section – libraries are fantastic for getting your hands on fresh titles without the wait. Don't be afraid to browse shelves outside your usual genres; you never know what hidden treasures you might stumble upon. I also love to check out the staff recommendation displays; librarians often have the best insights into truly captivating books. And if you're like me and love a good rom-com, keep an eye out for authors known for their heartwarming and humorous stories about love (and maybe even a love potion or two!). Returning from the library with a bag full of possibilities is such a satisfying feeling. Each book holds a promise of a new journey, a new character to fall in love with, or a new perspective to gain. It’s a wonderful way to keep my mind active, my imagination alight, and my soul nourished. Happy reading, fellow book lovers!
