The BEST Crockpot Beef Stew
What you need:
-2 lbs stew meat
-black pepper, garlic salt
-1/4 cup flour
-3-6 Tbsp olive oil
-1 yellow onion (chopped)
-4 cloves garlic (diced)
-1 cup your favorite red wine for cooking
-4 cups beef broth
-2 Tosp worcestershire sauce
- 1 small can Tomato paste
- 5 medium carrots (chopped)
-a bunch on baby yukon gold potatoes (quartered)
- 2 bay leaves
-2 sprigs fresh rosemary
-2 sprigs fresh thyme
- 3 Tbsp onion soup mix
Steps:
1. Season beef. Toss in flour. Brown in skillet with olive oil for a few minutes. Transfer to slow cooker.
2. Cook down onions and garlic in same skillet and then transfer to slow cooker
3. Add all remaining ingredients to slow cooker.
4. Cook on low for 8 hours.
5. Serve over egg noodles or mashed potatoes.
