Ensure you're consuming enough protein to support muscle repair, along with a calorie surplus to fuel gains. I found that eating lean meats, eggs, dairy, and plant-based proteins, combined with complex carbs and healthy fats, helped me build size without unnecessary fat gain. Don't underestimate recovery—adequate sleep and rest days are vital for muscle synthesis. Overtraining can actually hinder progress, so listen to your body and allow time for muscle fibers to rebuild. Lastly, tracking your progress through photos or a workout journal keeps you motivated and accountable. Building muscle is a gradual process, and celebrating small victories helps maintain focus and commitment.
