As someone who has witnessed ambulance rides, these fees could impact many, especially vulnerable populations. What stood out to me was the proposed cuts to veteran programs and other social services, albeit small, reflecting financial constraints that hit essential support areas. Additionally, the state's intervention with an $8 billion rescue package highlights the severity of NYC's fiscal challenges.
