🇺🇸 states i‘ve been to

This adventure of my life started back in December of ‘88.

I was Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania which is located in the northeastern United States.

ℙ𝔼ℕℕ𝕊𝕐𝕃𝕍𝔸ℕ𝕀𝔸

PA was 2nd state of the original 13 states to ratify the U.S. constitution and join the Union on December 12, 1787.

Pennsylvania was first named “New Wales” by William Penn but was objected so the admiral named it “Sylvania” which means Woods.

In honor of William Penn the King then changed the name to its current name Pennsylvania which in Latin translates to Penn’s Woods.

𝕋ℍ𝔼 𝕂𝔼𝕐𝕊𝕋𝕆ℕ𝔼 𝕊𝕋𝔸𝕋𝔼

The term "Keystone State" comes from the keystone, a wedge-shaped stone placed at the top of an arch, which holds all the other stones together.

Without it, the arch would collapse.

In early America, Pennsylvania was centrally located among the 13 colonies and played a crucial role in uniting the newly formed nation.

By the 1800s, the nickname "Keystone State" became firmly associated with Pennsylvania.

No matter the name or how many times I leave the state.. something always keeps pulling me back to the start.

PA holds the 🔑 to the heart (🥴🥴🥴).

Now In my 35 years of life on this earth as an American I’ve visited 35 out of the 50 states in the United States!

And I have to say my favorite states are Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oregon, South Carolina, Tennessee, Utah, Virginia, Washington, and Wyoming.

Throughout my life's journey, starting from my roots in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, I've explored many incredible states across the U.S.A. From the majestic landscapes of Montana to the sunny beaches of California, each destination offers its distinct culture and experiences. I often reminisce about my favorite states, like the breathtaking views of Arizona’s canyons, Colorado’s rocky mountains, and the rich history found in Virginia. Traveling not only broadens our horizons but also deepens our appreciation for the diversity within our country. As I reflect on my travels, it's both enlightening and rewarding to share the valuable insights I've gained. Whether it's savoring local cuisines, exploring vibrant cities, or immersing myself in nature, every state has a story to tell. I encourage you all to embark on your journeys and discover the beauty the U.S. has to offer, maybe you'll find some favorite states of your own too!
