Breaking Bread at the Mustard Seed with Stacey

🍞Just a Little Daily Bread…🍞

Galatians 6:9 ~

“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”

Some seasons of life feel like planting seasons.

You’re praying.

You’re believing.

You’re showing kindness.

You’re choosing faith when fear would be easier.

And sometimes it can feel like nothing is happening.

But God sees every seed.

Every prayer whispered in the quiet.

Every act of obedience.

Every moment you choose love, forgiveness, or faith.

Seeds planted in faith never return empty. They take root beneath the surface where our eyes cannot see. And in God’s perfect timing, what was once a tiny seed becomes a beautiful harvest.

If you feel like you’re in a sowing season today, don’t lose heart.

God is working beneath the soil.

Keep planting hope.

Keep planting kindness.

Keep planting the Word of God.

Your harvest is coming! 🙌🏼🙌🏼

🌱 What seed of faith are you sowing today? 🌱

Lord, thank You for the seeds You allow us to sow each day. Help us trust You in the seasons when we cannot yet see the harvest. Strengthen our faith, give us patient hearts, and remind us that every seed planted in obedience matters. In Jesus’ name, Amen!!

... Read moreIn life, many of us experience phases that feel like planting seasons—times when our efforts seem to yield no visible results. This article beautifully captures that feeling through the lens of faith, reminding us that every small act of kindness, prayer, and obedience counts, even if the harvest isn’t immediately apparent. From my own experience, I've found that patience during these seasons is crucial. It’s tempting to become discouraged when our prayers seem unanswered or when we don’t see immediate progress. However, just as a seed grows beneath the soil out of our sight, so too does the impact of our faith and good deeds grow in unseen ways. Trusting this process is a powerful spiritual practice that nurtures resilience. I encourage you to adopt the mindset of a gardener when it comes to your spiritual life. Plant seeds of hope, forgiveness, and love daily—even when it feels like nothing is happening. These spiritual seeds require consistent care and trust in God’s timing, as highlighted in Galatians 6:9: "Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up." Another important aspect is community support. Engaging with fellow believers, sharing testimonies, and praying together strengthens faith and provides encouragement. It reminds us we are not alone in these sowing seasons. This communal aspect enriches our spiritual journey and helps sustain us. Lastly, remembering that every moment of obedience is valued by God reassures us that no effort is wasted. Sometimes the harvest may appear in the blessings we receive, the transformation within ourselves, or the impact on others' lives. Keeping a journal of these small victories can help maintain focus and gratitude during the waiting periods. By embracing this approach, I have experienced a more peaceful and hopeful outlook on my faith journey. Your own spiritual harvest is coming—keep sowing, keep trusting, and let your faith grow, even when unseen.
