Today is quiet.
The crowds are gone.
The cross stands empty.
And the world feels… still.
Jesus has been crucified.
Hope feels buried.
And heaven seems silent.
For those who loved Him, this day must have felt unbearable.
Everything they believed in… everything they hoped for…
now wrapped in grief and uncertainty.
And yet…
Even in the silence… God was still working!
Even in the stillness… He had not forgotten!
Even in the waiting… He was preparing resurrection!
Psalm 34:18 ~
The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
Maybe today feels like that for you too.
A silent place.
A waiting place.
A place where prayers feel unanswered and hope feels distant.
But hear this gently…
Just because God is quiet
doesn’t mean He is absent.
Just because you don’t see movement
doesn’t mean He isn’t working.
Saturday may feel sad and soft…
but it is not the end of the story.
🙌🏼 Sunday is coming! 🙌🏼
Resurrection is coming.
Joy is coming.
Victory is coming.
So today… we sit with Him in the quiet.
We trust Him in the waiting.
And we hold onto hope…
Because what feels buried
is not gone.
It’s just waiting
to rise!! 🙌🏼
Jesus…
In the quiet of this day,
when things feel still and uncertain,
help me to trust You.
When I don’t see movement,
remind me You are still working.
When my heart feels heavy,
draw me close to Yours.
Teach me to rest in the waiting,
to have faith in the silence,
and to hold onto hope
when I cannot yet see the promise.
I trust that what feels buried
is not gone…
because You are the God
who brings life from the grave!! 🙌🏼
