The Power of Knowing & Being in the Presence of God
There’s something different…
when you don’t just know about God…
but you KNOW Him! 🙌🏼
When you’ve been in His presence…
felt His peace…
heard His voice…
you carry a confidence the fire can’t shake.
Daniel 3 doesn’t just tell a story of survival…
it reveals a holy truth…
🤍 God doesn’t always pull you out of the fire…
🤍 Sometimes, He steps into it with you.
“I see four men walking around in the fire… and the fourth looks like the Son of God!” (v.25)
They weren’t bound anymore.
They weren’t burned.
They weren’t even alone.
🔥 The fire didn’t destroy them…
🔥 It revealed WHO WAS WITH THEM
And when they came out?
🙌🏼 Not a hair singed
🙌🏼 Not a garment scorched
🙌🏼 Not even the smell of smoke
That’s what happens when you’ve been in the presence of God.
You may walk through the fire…
but the fire won’t have permission to touch what God is protecting.
So if you’re in the fire right now…
💚 You are not alone
💚 You are not forgotten
💚 And you are not going under
Because there is a Fourth Man in your fire…
and His presence changes everything!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼
Lord, thank You that I never walk alone. Even in the fire, You are with me. Give me the kind of faith that trusts Your presence more than my circumstances. Let the fire refine me… but never define me. In Jesus’ name, Amen! 🤍

Walking through difficult times can often feel like facing an intense fire, testing our faith and resilience. From personal experience, I’ve learned that the difference between surviving these trials and thriving through them lies in truly knowing God—not just knowing about Him, but deeply experiencing His presence. The story of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego in Daniel 3 beautifully illustrates this truth. When faced with the fiery furnace, it wasn't just their faith that saved them—it was the presence of the Fourth Man, the divine companion walking alongside them in the fire. This presence transformed their trial into triumph, leaving them unharmed, untouched by the flames, and smelling not even of smoke. In my own life, moments of hardship have been unexpectedly bearable when I remembered that I am never alone. Whether it’s challenges at work, health struggles, or emotional battles, sensing God’s presence provides an unshakable peace and confidence. This kind of faith doesn’t deny the difficulty of the situation but gives us strength to face it courageously. Moreover, understanding that God may not always remove us from the fire but will always step into it with us changes how we perceive trials. The fire—the struggles and hardships—doesn’t define us; rather, it refines us. It’s in these moments of testing that faith grows stronger and character is shaped. Practically, cultivating this closeness with God involves daily intentional moments of prayer, scripture reading, and openness to His voice, much like taking in "Just a Little Daily Bread." It’s through these practices that we develop the confidence to say, "I know Him," and not merely know about Him. For anyone struggling "in the fire" right now, remember: you are not forgotten nor alone. The presence of God—the Fourth Man—is with you, changing everything and protecting you in ways the world cannot see. This reality can transform fear into hope and despair into faith-filled endurance. Holding on to this truth has helped me move forward with peace, knowing that the fire is only temporary and the One who walks with me is eternal. May you too find strength and encouragement in God’s abiding presence throughout your journey.
