Breaking Bread at the Mustard Seed with Stacey

Philippians 1:6 ~

“And I am convinced and sure of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will continue to perfect and complete it until the day of Christ Jesus.”

You may feel overlooked… delayed… forgotten… or even stuck in a chapter you never wanted to read.

But God does some of His greatest work in the middle chapters! 🙌🏼

The chapters filled with waiting.

The chapters filled with healing.

The chapters where nothing seems to make sense.

Don’t mistake a difficult chapter for the end of your story.

God is still writing.

Still restoring.

Still redeeming.

Still opening doors no man can shut.

Every tear… every setback… every prayer whispered in the dark has purpose in His hands.

The same God who parted seas, raised the dead, and rolled away stones is still moving behind the scenes of your life! 🙌🏼

And one day… you’re going to look back and realize…

The chapter that almost broke you was the chapter God used to build you!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼

Friend… keep turning the pages.

He’s not finished yet! 🙌🏼

Lord, thank You for never giving up on me, even in the chapters I don’t understand. Help me trust You when the pages feel messy, uncertain, or incomplete. Remind me that You are still working behind the scenes, still healing, still restoring, and still writing something beautiful out of my life. Give me peace in the waiting and faith to keep turning the pages with You. In Jesus’ name, Amen! 🤍

... Read moreLife often presents us with chapters that feel confusing, painful, or stagnant, much like the middle chapters of a book where the plot twists and hardships arise. From personal experience, I’ve found that these chapters, though challenging, are essential for spiritual growth and deeper faith. The scripture from Philippians 1:6 reminds us that the work God begins in us is not abandoned but perfected over time. When I faced seasons of waiting and uncertainty, I struggled with feelings of being overlooked or stuck. It was in those moments, as the original post mentions, that I learned God was actively working behind the scenes—restoring brokenness and guiding circumstances in ways I couldn’t yet see. Just like the biblical accounts of God parting seas or rolling away stones, His power and plan are still in motion in our lives today. It is encouraging to consider that the tears, setbacks, and prayers whispered alone have significant purpose. These difficult chapters aren’t endings but stepping stones toward something greater. I encourage anyone who feels stuck to continue turning the pages of their story, trusting that God’s redemptive work continues—even when progress feels invisible. Keeping this perspective not only strengthens faith but brings peace in the waiting periods. Embracing this ongoing divine authorship helps us shift from despair to hope, realizing that every season has meaning and is contributing to a beautiful, God-written story. Stay hopeful, keep the faith, and remember that the chapter that challenges you the most might be the one that builds your character and faith strongest.
