Matthew 13:31-32 ~
“The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed… though it is the smallest of all seeds, yet when it grows, it is the largest of garden plants and becomes a tree.”
One of the hardest parts of farming is believing in what you can’t yet see.
You can plant the seed…
Prepare the soil…
Water the ground…
Pull the weeds…
…and still stare at a field that looks completely unchanged.
But beneath the surface…
life is happening.
Roots are stretching.
The seed is breaking open.
God is doing His best work where human eyes cannot see! 🙌🏼
Our spiritual lives are often exactly the same.
Sometimes we wonder why our prayers haven’t been answered…
Why our healing hasn’t come…
Why the breakthrough feels delayed…
Why our ministry isn’t growing as quickly as we’d hoped…
Yet God whispers…
“Don’t confuse hidden with forgotten!” 🙌🏼
Just because Heaven is quiet doesn’t mean Heaven is inactive.
Some of God’s greatest miracles begin underground.
The mustard seed doesn’t become discouraged because no one applauds while it’s growing roots.
It simply keeps becoming what God created it to be.
Maybe today you feel buried.
Friend…
Maybe you’re not buried…
Maybe you’re planted! 🙌🏼
And there’s a world of difference.
The same God who causes tiny mustard seeds to become shelter for many is growing something inside of you that will bless people you’ve never even met.
Trust what God is doing beneath the surface.
Your roots are becoming stronger than your storms!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼
Father,
Thank You for reminding me that Your greatest work often happens where I cannot see it.
When I feel overlooked, forgotten, or discouraged, help me remember that You are still working beneath the surface of my life.
Grow my faith deeper than my fears.
Strengthen my roots before You expand my branches.
Help me trust Your timing, Your process, and Your purpose.
May my life become a place where others find shade, hope, and encouragement because I remained faithful while You were growing me.
