• 4 cups milk (whole milk or 2%)

• 3 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese

• 1 cup shredded mozzarella

• Salt and pepper to taste

• ½ tsp paprika (optional)

For the lasagna layers:

• ½ lb ground beef or Italian sausage (optional, for a meat version)

• 1 cup ricotta or cottage cheese

• ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

• 2 cups shredded mozzarella or cheddar blend

• ½ tsp Italian seasoning (optional)

• Fresh parsley for garnish
