Homemade Funnel Cake

If you liked the funnel fries I posted then you’d love this.

Ingredients:

1 1/4 c all purpose flour

1 large egg

2/3 c milk

2 tbsp sugar

1 tsp baking powder

1/4 tsp salt

1 tsp vanilla (or flavor of choice, be creative)

Directions:

Mix all ingredients well and add more milk if too thick. Instead of a funnel use an old plastic squeeze ketchup bottle....easier. Heat a small amount of canola (or vegetable) oil in a small cast iron skillet. Then squirt and swirl batter in oil. Flip when it starts bubbling and turning brown (like when making pancakes).

SPRINKLE WITH POWERED SUGAR

Can also add strawberries, cool whip or any other topping you’d like.
