Hardest thing I had to learn

Learning to be for myself as much I am for others I used to be an yes Woman but when I would ask for help from others it’s always I’m “busy” or no not really sure if I can help you I said fine then I’m so returning that same energy today and forever

Vulnerability

🤍 My Story:Learn to love you just as much

🤍 How I Felt: I felt like I shouldn’t put others first all the time and instead put God and myself first for now on.

🤍 My Takeaways:

the Takeaways is to eliminate those who aren’t helping me become better versions for myself.

5/28 Edited to

... Read moreOne of the hardest lessons I've learned is how crucial it is to balance caring for others with caring for myself. For a long time, I was a "yes woman," always eager to help but rarely receiving the support I needed in return. This experience taught me the importance of setting healthy boundaries—not just for others, but for my own emotional health. The phrase, "Be there for others but never leave yourself behind," perfectly captures this delicate balance. It reminds us that while being supportive is noble, neglecting your own needs can lead to burnout and resentment. Learning to say no, especially to those who are unwilling or unable to support us, was a transformative step in my life. It opened doors to healthier relationships and allowed me to focus on personal growth. Another key part of this journey involved embracing vulnerability. It’s not easy to admit that we need help or to acknowledge that our previous way of always putting others first wasn't sustainable. But vulnerability fosters authenticity and deepens connections with ourselves and others, ultimately leading to stronger self-love. Putting God and myself first was a conscious decision that redefined my priorities. Spirituality and self-care became my guiding forces, helping me to cultivate a mindset where I nurture my well-being as much as I contribute to others. This shift empowered me to eliminate negative influences and surround myself with people who uplift and support my journey toward becoming the best version of myself. If you find yourself constantly giving while receiving little in return, remember that your worth isn’t tied to how much you do for others. Prioritize your needs, embrace vulnerability, and don’t be afraid to cut ties with those who don't contribute positively to your life. Self-love and respect are not selfish—they are essential for sustainable happiness and growth.
