Also, reflecting on the cyclical pattern of accepting apologies and revisiting the same pain helped me understand that unresolved issues don’t disappear on their own. Change requires action — either from both partners or yourself. If you’re hesitant, that’s okay. Being honest with yourself is a brave first step. Whether you decide to stay and work on the relationship or leave and start fresh, know that your worth isn’t defined by your past or by staying in comfort zones. Growth often feels uncomfortable but it’s worth it.
