People hate the word “affirmations” in posts like these but we’ve gotta realize that, as stupid as it sounds sometimes, it works. We have power over our own thoughts, what we tell ourselves has power over our emotions and mental wellbeing. When you stop yourself from talking down to yourself, “that was so stupid”, “I want to die”, “I can’t do anything right” And you start reframing those thoughts and talking to yourself more positively, there WILL be a genuine change. It won’t be immediate, but it WILL change for the better.
