How I knew she was a forever friend

My sister and me are three years apart and used to argue all the time growing up! We weren’t very close we loved eachother but we would do our own separate things! When I was in college after a couple years we talked on the phone everyday and I realized there was no one else I would rather hang out with! Other friends I have gone through from fake stuff and it was hard to find new friends to even do the things I wanna do! I have other friends but there is no one I would rather hang with or talk to than my sister! She is my bestfriend and now that we both have kids it made our bond grow even stronger!

... Read moreSiblings often have complex relationships, but they can turn into some of the most profound friendships. The story of how bonds deepen over time, especially after childhood, resonates with many. As you both navigate life's changes, from college to becoming parents, these shared experiences create a unique bond. It's essential to cherish those who are genuinely there for you during good and bad times. True friends, including siblings, help us remain authentic, providing an environment where we can express ourselves without judgement. They can be our confidants, supporting us through life's ups and downs. Observing changes in relationships can be enlightening. Those who once seemed distant can become our closest allies as we grow older. This shift often happens because our values align, or we encounter similar life stages, like parenthood. Nurturing these relationships requires effort but often leads to the most rewarding connections. Embrace your journey of friendship with your siblings—they might just become your forever friends!
