It was refreshing to see places marked clearly as halal, showing Japan’s growing inclusivity for international visitors. Another interesting aspect was the numerous tax-free shops in shopping districts. Stores prominently displayed signs about tax exemption on brand items and cosmetics, making it a great place for travelers to shop smartly without worrying about extra costs. The mention of shops like the Miyuki Building and Shinsaibashi tax-free stores showed that Japan really values a seamless shopping experience. Cultural nuances also caught my attention; for example, signs in the city indicate water sources that are not meant for drinking. It’s a small but important detail for visitors to stay aware of, ensuring their safety and comfort. Overall, my trip to Japan was filled with delightful discoveries—from halal dining experiences, tax-free shopping, to understanding local customs.
