ถ้าใครเสิร์ชหา “51 Avenue” แล้วกำลังลังเลว่าควรไปไหม เราขอสรุปประสบการณ์แบบใช้งานได้จริงให้ค่ะ (เผื่อช่วยตัดสินใจและวางแผนไปให้คุ้มที่สุด) อย่างแรก ร้านอยู่ใน Velaa Sindhorn Village บรรยากาศโดยรวมคือสวย เรียบหรู มีความผู้ดีแบบ tea salon กลิ่นชาในร้านหอมมาก และผนังที่ตกแต่งด้วยกระป๋องชาสีขาวคือเป็นซิกเนเจอร์ที่เห็นแล้วรู้เลยว่ามา 51 AVENUE จริงๆ ใครชอบธีมคาเฟ่โทนไม้ๆ เก้าอี้หวาย โต๊ะไม้ ถ่ายรูปออกมาดูละมุนแน่นอน เรื่อง “ควรมาตอนไหน” ถ้าโฟกัสรูป แนะนำช่วงบ่ายประมาณ 14:00 เป็นต้นไปเหมือนในรีวิวหลักเลย เพราะแสงจะเข้าดี ทำให้โทนผิวและสีขนมดูสวยขึ้น ถ่ายกับชุดน้ำชาบนโต๊ะไม้คือขึ้นกล้องมาก แต่ต้องเผื่อใจนิดนึงว่ามุมถ่ายอาจไม่ได้เยอะมาก เน้นหามุมกับฉากกระป๋องชา/ตู้เค้ก/ต้นไม้ดอกสีขาวหน้าร้าน จะได้ฟีลหวานๆ ลูกคุณขึ้นสุด ส่วนเมนูไฮไลต์ที่คนมักสั่งคือชุด Afternoon Tea อย่าง Versailles set ซึ่งโดยทั่วไปจะได้ของคาว-หวานหลายอย่างในเซ็ต (เค้ก/มาการอง/สโคน/แซนด์วิช) พร้อมชา 2 กา จุดที่เราชอบคือชา Ispahan Rose Tea แบบไม่มีคาเฟอีน กลิ่นกุหลาบชัดมาก และเสิร์ฟพร้อมนาฬิกาทรายให้จับเวลา (ประมาณ 5 นาที) ทำให้ชงได้พอดี ไม่เข้มเกิน สโคนจะเสิร์ฟคู่ clotted cream Rodda’s และแยม Ispahan ซึ่งเป็นคู่ที่กินแล้ว “ใช่” มาก ถ้าไปครั้งแรก แนะนำให้ลองทาสโคนแบบครีมก่อนแล้วค่อยตามด้วยแยม จะได้บาลานซ์รสและไม่หวานโดด ส่วนมาการองเลือกได้หลายรส ใครชอบแนวละมุนๆ เราว่ารส coconut กินง่ายและเข้ากับชาดี ทิปที่ควรรู้ก่อนไป: ร้านอาจใช้เวลารออาหารนานในบางช่วง (เหมาะกับวันชิลๆ มากกว่าวันรีบ) แนะนำไปแบบเผื่อเวลา และถ้าอยากได้โต๊ะถ่ายรูปสวยๆ ลองไปช่วงไม่พีคหรือโทรถามเรื่องคนแน่นก่อนจะสบายกว่า เรื่องราคา เซ็ตอยู่ราวๆ 1,7xx บาท (รวม service charge และ VAT แล้วตามที่เราเจอ) เหมาะแชร์ 2 คนกำลังดี จะได้ทั้งอิ่มและถ่ายรูปคุ้มๆ สุดท้ายเรื่องที่จอดรถ จอดชั้นใต้ดินแล้วอย่าลืมให้ร้านแสตมป์เพื่อสิทธิ์จอดฟรี 2 ชั่วโมง—ช่วยประหยัดได้จริงค่ะ
